With as much history as the Bears VS. Packers rivalry, no other event in the city's long biking history has the stature as this.
This photo was taken on Milwaukee Avenue around 12:50 Saturday at the 124th annual Roadies VS. Hipsters Battle of 60622--you may notice the roadies: they are the ones taking themselves too seriously and not having any fun (note roadie in left shoulder in green waiting, digesting another GU gel, calculating WATTS with his typical roadie self-centeredness just bothered by the whole accident thing or 'cadence blocker'); and the hipsters with their 3/4 capris flying through the air and the guy still no-hand trackstanding off the right front bumper--mindless of actually getting hit by a car or no longer really being on a bike.
Also, notice the hottest up-and-coming neighborhood statement in the electrical lines: instead of the tied gym shoes discarded high throughout the city, wrapped around the ubiquitous electrical lines, note here the horizontal Republic Bikes 'fixie' with the green and white 'colorway' in the electrical wires (I have seen ALOT of these lately around Logan Square and West Bucktown).
