It wasn't back then. He is up and riding a 20" Schwinn Falcon (trade from my buddy's church).

He still needs practice, and we try to get him out there when we can....he did his first 3 miler last Saturday !!! Down Archer to McKinley Park, then a few times around the goose-poop laden trails, a stop at Burger King for a snack, then back home.

So, I am hoping that he gets more practice before the real winter kicks in (or the Mayans are right, and the world ends...LOL !)

Or I want to get one of those bike extensions that kids can sit on and help pedal, and we can go out to the Forest Preserves on the SW side (Palos, Maple Lake, etc)
