So I tend to horde bike parts, and it got out of control over the past few years. No biggie; I sold almost all of my spare parts via eBay, re-couped all my losses, and got rid of a Public Storage unit. I kept a single gruppo and all of my perishables (brake pads, cables, tires, etc). Long-story short, I still had enough spare parts to build a kick ass crit-bike, minus a frame. Quick run to Performance during a clearance sale this past Fall remedied that --and voila! My spare ride. I keep this bike deep in the city for barhopping with the buddies. It's setup as a flat-handlebar commuter, but a handlebar and shifter switch can easily make this bike crit-ready.
