Ghost Bikes of Chicago - as photographed in December 2014

Each of these memorials marks the location of a cyclist killed in the City of Chicago. We as a society need more safe places to ride, like for example, in Denmark, where they have much more dedicated cycling paths. In addition, riders here need more education about safe riding practices. I think the single most important safety tip is being highly visible. The next most important safety tip is riding on safe streets (e.g. never Western, Ashland or Irving Park), and following the rules of the road.

Gabe, I'm sure if you leave a message for h' 1.0, the group leader, I'm sure he will see them.

Is there an easy way to share this with the Chicago Ghost Bikes group?

Thanks Tom - I'm new to this so I appreciate the suggestions.  I'll look for these groups.

Hey Gabe, welcome to the Chainlink ! I viewed all of your pictures of the ghost bikes in Chicago and it was very interesting to see how they currently look. I invite you to become a member of our groups here: Chicago Ghost Bikes and Chicago Ride of Silence. Again, welcome !
