I was in that area back in the 1999-2000 time frame. Military duty, MFO in Sinai, Egypt. Had a great trip to Jerusalem (Old City as well as the new) and Mount of Olives, Haifa, etc. I was kinda thrown for a loop when I saw teens with loaded M-4's/Galil 500 series/rifles of all sorts. They were waiting for buses for school or to the store ! The ones that freaked me out the most were the young adults at the night clubs dancing and drinking with those same weapons !!!! Awesome !!!!
