Has the date been absolutely confirmed yet?  Will good old-fashioned Chicago bribery work to get you to pick the 27th?

You should, Lisa, and good point about the sisters--where's Lena and Lorene and Norah and Andrea and the rest? Some are up on the facebook thread. Rest assured, the event has historically been pretty well gender balanced.

I am seriously thinking I might try it this year.  But the main reason I joined the group is because there were 16 members and not a single female! :-)

 Thanks for organizing this ride!      There might be a problem, crossing over the Bishop Ford expressway, at 111th, this year. There is a construction project, that has vehicles going in 3 directions over this bridge!

  One year, after leaving the South Shore Club, at 71st & the lake, we went south/east on Coles st.  -it was a better alternative then South Shore Dr. (much wider & no traffic)  It connects to 79th.

   Jumping WAY ahead, for 2015; 130th & Torrance are being rebuilt. The construction crew is adding a bike path, from Torrance to the River, along 130th st.  The project should be complete for next years ride.

2014 is lucky Perimeter #13 and there are new streets to ride that didn't exist last year! Pass the word around, it's on!
