I have to say, dining outside for lunch with three great Brompton owners (and their Bromptons) and watching the passing rain from a western-facing window in The Map Room, and covered protection on the Ravenswood Metra station, was quite a memorable event. And, this red, white and blue reminds me of that final rainbow. Thanks Bill and Jonathan!

Hi everyone!  Obv, just joined the group and it looks like my husband and I missed a fun Bike-Train-Boat meet up.  Where is the best place to find these events?  I have been commuting with a Brompton since 2001 when I bought mine in The Netherlands when we lived there for 8 years.  Used it in the Fall/Spring to get to work (Bike-Train-Bike) and then biked on a Specialized in the Summer/Winter to work 20km (each way).  Biking is in my blood!  Thanks!

NB:  Clicking on the link in Marcus's 6/11 post "Bromptons, trains and boats!" does not get you to the event. 

It's apparently necessary to get there via the calendar, scrolling down to the date, then finding the event. (I'd be happy to learn otherwise, but have also noticed this quirk with past British Bike Chicago posts of tweed rides.)
