Hi
Anybody tried http://www.linkedin.com/ ? I just heard about it this week. A former coworker just got a job (Software QA) because of the board. Essentially it is a networking tool used by job seekers and potential employers alike. Since companies only give neutral recommendations now, linkedin is a way for people to vouch for each others abilities.
I went to my first outplacement meeting this week and they said that linkedin was crucial in the current job search world. FYI, if you are lucky enough to get a package with outplacement, use it. They are not like recruiters or anything.
