Hi!

I'm a bike builder in Humboldt Park. I just got ahold of a great little Shogun, a Japaneese frame that is not equipped with great components, but the frame is nice.

I'm planning to build it very nicely. The frame is designed for a 27" rear wheel, and a 24" front. It came with steel rims, so I'm going to build a custom wheelset to replace them.

I'm wondering if any of you out there are interested in this bike. If so, you can have a role in deciding what kind of rims and hubs and spokes I use for the wheelset, what crankset I use, etc. I'm thinking of using some Sun Cr-18 rims, which come in polished silver, or black, and are some of the only ones on the market available in 24", 27" and 700c.

Here are some photos of the bike as it is now. All the current components will be replaced except for the stem, but you can get a look at the frame. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll get back to you with frame measurements.

Thanks!
Brian

super cool, but I have 3 bikes now, I think I need to take a break!
Hi Brian--I might be interested, if it still needs a home. I'm still on the hunt for a perfect fit.

Hey Gin,

Its still looking for a home, so let me know and you can come check it out. It's quite short. BTW, I'm going to be starting a vintage bike shop in a storefront in the Congress Theatre later on this month, so you can check it out at my place any time, or come to the Congress in a couple weeks to take a peek.
