The Chainlink

Initially I just wanted everybody to ride to a place where there was dancing, then go in and dance, then maybe ride somewhere else where there was dancing, and then dance some more.

But things have changed and now that there is a spoke card in the works this thing has clearly taken on a life of its own and it's going to be way more (insert positive adjective here) than I could have anticipated before now.

The way different ideas are shaping up, this will now be more of a mobile dance party, and we will bring the dance to any place we decide to stop, be it a bar, a park, or... I don't know... a major intersection in Wicker Park? So many options...

But first things first:
Should we wait for warmer temperatures?  If not, how do we feel about Feb 27?  If you're doing the Frozen Snot Century, that'll conflict, but otherwise that day looks pretty good...

Second thing:
I'm already working on an ipod dance mix. If you want to contribute or request specific music, lemme know.

I'm so excited!

A dance mix ? Yeah ! . . . . . . such as on my favorite streaming stations, Radio Free Akron or
Radioio . . . . . . .
If there is any music you want but do not have, just let me know.
Feb 27 looks good for me-- I can bring a sound trailer with a 15" sub if it's reasonably dry.
I'll bet others offer too. If we're not rolling we can chain the trailers with a common source.
Ask Steven about using the Art Show as a space to also have a dance party. CCM will have a larger turn out than a dance party ride. As of right now I am aware of only one artist who wants to perform live. The rest of the evening could be accompanied with dancing. But then again I can see the appeal of just making the two things separate. On Feb 14th I'll be releasing my latest Mixtape, "Ladies Choice." It'll make the ladies move.
It'll be the night after CCM (so also the night after the art show closing party). I would maybe die of happiness if we somehow had any number of people that could even be mistaken for CCM.

AND I'm super excited to hear this mixtape!

H- I only caught the end of the bike sound systems talk yesterday so I don't really know what that all means, but it sounds fantastic :)

And John- Thanks! Do you have anything specific you might want to hear?
M, Spencers mixes have been great! ;-) Spencer can you post up the link from your old mixes for Michelle? I've already got 'em.
