That's old news already.  People on my team were buzzing about it hours ago.  Much as I've always loathed the guy, what's done is done and I wish people would leave him alone.  The UCI actions were nothing but abject hypocrisy.  There, oh, I forgot to call him a douchebag.  Wait, it was cocksucker.  Both terms of endearment work very well.

I care more about the current temps and Iowa better hold some damn good heat/humidity in store for the ride.

Oh, and Greg is also a fellow Chainlinker....

And, as long as we are on the subject of RAGBRAI books, this fictional one is also a good read....

Also a friend recommended this one a few years back but I still haven't gotten around to reading it yet....

Greg, who like Cathy said grew up in Iowa and is a RAGBRAI vet, also wrote this....

So, he knows a thing or two about bicycling....  I have been looking forward to his RAGBRAI book since I heard he was writing one last year....  Also, the forward was written by RAGBRAI co-founder John Karras himself....  Karras is also a professional journalist....  He started RAGBRAI with Don Kaul when both were writing for the Des Moines Register....  Karras also wrote his own history of RAGBRAI a few years back and it is a good read....

Greg Borzo is a professional journalist who happens to ride a bike and also grew up in Iowa.   Besides, anybody who quotes me 3 times and uses 2 of my photos (with credit) and sends me a copy of the book has to be very authoritative.

Believe it or not, I still have the 7 day pass to RAGBRAI to sell.  Any takers?

I'm unaware of who Greg Borzo is or with what authority he comes to this, but I'd have to peruse it first to pass judgement.

In any event, for Ragbrai fans, if you can find this book, it's well worth procuring.

I have a RAGBRAI packet to sell.  I know there is an official way to sell it through Ragbrai and we will go through them.  But I wanted to give Chicago Chainlinkers first chance to buy it.  Reply directly to kangarookathy@yahoo.com

Hey RAGBRAI riders, past and present!

I rode Iowa in '08.  Back when Lance, still loved, would make a routine stealth appearance on the route.  For many reasons, it was a great adventure.

I have a request.  I am looking for volunteers for a special project.  Please PM me (or email melissa @thechainlink.org) if you...

...like to read.

...like to write.

...like Chainlink accolades.

...have opinions.

...are interested in RAGBRAI.

Surprises are in store =)  Thanks!

I'm wanting some heat and humidity in Iowa, this weather blows.

5 Weeks y'all, I have no training miles in this year, but it's so short, do I need them?
