Far north; 3rd shortest, 2 flattest in history. Fucking lame. They gotta cater to their flabby aging rider base I suppose.

My liver hates me already!

I love the "Iowa Alps" around Decorah, but I highly doubt with this aged and tired and flabby rider base that supports Ragbrai anymore, that they'll revisit Decorah any time soon.

I'm hearing Rock Rapids - Spirit Lake - Algona - Mason City - Waverly - Independence - West Union - Guttenberg.

We'll know in a few hours.

I agree about wanting to go south....  But I think it will go north....  Here is my prediction....

LeMars>Sheldon>Emmetsburg>Fort Dodge>>Mason City>New Hampton>Decorah>Guttenberg  (Notice the use of >s....  Very Deadhead like....)

Route announcement tomorrow. I'm hearing far northern Iowa, as in mind-numbingly-flat, spitting-distance-of-Minnesota northern Iowa.

I'm hoping for a far southern route; hills hills hills and more hills.  Time to weed out the weak on this ride.

Hi everyone I wanted to let you all know that beginning in 2014, we will be offering transportation for you, your bicycle, and your baggage both from downtown Chicago to the start of RAGBRAI® and also from the end of RAGBRAI® back to downtown Chicago.

Please note that we will only be offering transportation from and to Chicago and no other charter services during the week, such as baggage transportation between stopping towns. (maybe next year though!)

We are still working on the details, so if you are interested in this exciting new service visit www.bicycleillinois.com and join our mailing list so we can keep you informed as more specific information becomes available. Signing up on our mailing list does not obligate you to register for our transportation service in any way.

Also if you have any questions or comments in the meantime about this new service please don't hesitate to let us know. Thanks!

Ragbrai was a lot more fun before T.J., perhaps he should go back to Florida.

T.J. Juskiewicz, director of RAGBRAI, and our own Greg Borzo, author of the recent book about RAGBRAI will do a presentation about our favorite long distance bike tour on February 27, 2014.  It's at the Harold Washington Library at State St and Congress Pkwy at 6PM.  You and your friends are all invited.
