My first time was in 1997 and after a rocky couple of days, I was hooked by that Wednesday and I've been obsessed for years now. I'm usually a bit tearful during the tire dipping at the end of the week. Get me loaded up with Guinness and I might tell ya why.

It's a lot of flatness so train your bike-to-rider interface accordingly.

The Grotto is worth some time.

Last time through Clear Lake, there was a big bus party at a beach, hopefully the beer garden will be set up there again.

Dyersville on the last day, that will be a new one for me.
