I've got my things laid out on the floor beside my bed, wondering if I've missed anything. Just being paranoid in my first-time excitement. Thankfully, I had mentally crossed sleeping bag off my list when I realized it was a winter sleeping bag. Doh! So got that changed in time. LOL

for how my packing is coming along, almost everything is int eh proper bags in the duffel bag. just a couple miscellaneous items and I'm ready. can't wait!

Thanks for the beer guide link. Usually I spend my first day out there trying to track down a Team Good Beer member for a copy.

So far my approach to packing has been throwing anything I think I might need into a pile in the living room as it occurs to me. Friday afternoon is sort-it-out-and-fit-it-into-a-duffel-bag day. I'm setting a horrible example of unpreparedness for my wife on her first RAGBRAI.

Thanks for the links to the good beer info, Craig. Got that guide nicely printed out and folded, and ready for quick consultation. It constitutes the first item I have laid out for packing.

Finally, some of the most important ride info is being released.

Team Good Beer released their Guide to Good Beer. http://www.teamgoodbeer.org/docs/BarGuide2010.pdf

Still waiting on Team Brewhaha's seminal publication, the Team Brewhaha Bar Guide.

I have a weeklong RAGBRAI packet to sell to whoever wants it. I paid $140 for it and can deliver it or meet whoever wants it. asanamale@yahoo.com (219) 895-9324

I'm an idiot and too damn giddy to think straight. I meant traveling westbound on 80 rather than east from here, duh.

My bag is still partially packed since I never fully unpacked from GRABWAAR ! (I have it on the floor and just throw things in
as I see them.) TEAM TEAM !

I have my dining room table fully extended and loaded with everything. It looks like a vendor's table at a bike expo.

Getting very excited as Friday comes closer. We're driving to Galena, sleeping, then getting up early to load a charter bus to Sioux City.

Who has all their gear packed already? I have some of it thrown in my living room but nothing organized or packed.

4 days, as Ragbrai really starts on Saturday.

For those of you traveling I-80 east on Saturday, Marne (marn-ie) Iowa is always a pit stop. There's one bar in town and you'll find a dozen buses and a bunch of cars parked for some libations, conversation, grub and volleyball. Always a good time if you need a leg stretcher.

4 days!
