Kathy, what a fantastic story!!! My wife and I saw you on the route, and I think she even visited with you a little bit ("That's a REAL DOG!"). I wish you many more miles of great riding. 

Oh, and BTW -- you DID see the guy sitting along the road holding the sign that said, "Eligible Bachelor," right?

Didn't do *every* mile -- my wife and I were both afflicted in our nether regions, in spite of 1,200 miles of training. So we had to sag out for a while. Ugh. I've learned that a certain amount of Desitin and Chamois Butt'r in your shorts feels like you didn't quite make it to the Kybo...

Oh yeah. Totally blows.

Did anyone else go to the off-route party on Monday? With Team Spin and Team Checkers? They estimate 2,000 to 3,000 people were there. It was insane. 

Also, EFM here (Every Friendly [or another f-word] Mile). Did the 100 loop and everything. Good ride this year.
