Just can't get myself to cut off the wristband just yet...... although people have asked me if I was just discharged form the hospital :))

Forget next year.  Let's talk about 2 days ago.  I've already filed all my photos and after a few days I'll have my copy of the Des Moines Register with Suzy's article, perhaps a link to our television appearance in Davenport and a copy of the local paper in Wilton that did a story on Suzy.

So if anybody wants to get together and re-hash memories before they are hard to remember, I'm offering my back yard and/or living room on Sunday evening, August 14th.

That's the same date as the volunteer ride for the Four Star Ride and I hope some of you will be volunteering at that event and therefore be joining Suzy and me in the morning to ride to Hegewisch.  

 

Please RSVP with a pot luck choice for a 6PM Ragbrai Rehash on Sunday, August 14th at 1113 W. Webster.

Suzy and I found Julie and Larry several time and Waymond when we got into Atlantic.  It's very hot and very hilly and we drank more than usual.  But we are enjoying it very much.

We're staying indoors and so far have had three wonderful hosts.

You're all invited to Suzy's fifth birthday party ride if you can manage another 22 - 33 miles on Sunday next - 31st July.  Check the chainlink.org calendar for details.

I still have a wristband available as now I've had a chainlink member flake on me. Know someone who wants to do a deal on a last-minute wristband, get in touch.

Very nice job on the license plate, Waymond.  I've put my name on it, laminated it, backed it with cardboard and zip tied it to the Ragbrai license plate which is zip tied to my basket.  Suzy and I will be looking for other yellow license plates as we ride along.  

 

Now back to packing our stuff!
