Iggi! (And thanks Matt for the heads up!)
How did you know that I needed this group? I can't wait to go camping. The sooner the better. I'd love to get some use out of the -65 bag...any takers?

Bike - camping is great! Last summer some friends and I biked out to Starved Rock, pitched a tent, drank some beers, and slept under the stars. It was great. We didn't have much time to explore Starved Rock, though, since we basically had to turn around in the morning...I would take an extra day next time. And my touring bike was stolen, so I'd have to make some adjustments to my new jamis.

Another thing- I bought an inflatable tandem kayak today from REI with the member20 code- SO FREAKIN EXCITED! YOu can also get the 20% off even if you join as a new member (keep in mind it's only $20 for a lifetime membership).

I actually got a great 4 man tent from Sports Authority that was only like $70.

I love it! I bought a trailer for my bike at the swap meet so now I will have some good chances to use it. My wife and I are planning a long ride up to Bong State Park in WI sometime this summer- we should turn it into a big ole' group ride! Its at least 60 miles by car, not sure what it will be on bike.
