Mix bad tasting water with tang. There's a reason that stuff went to the moon. It covers up the taste of anything.

It sounds like it's well water. The sulfur won't hurt you, but it may taste bad. I'm not sure if there is anything you can do about it execpt to use reverse osmosis on it. That would should remove most of the taste.

REI sells lots of things to turn camping water into potable.
filters, tablets, boil it, etc etc

Last week, Cezar and I met at Bong to camp. We had two pumps from which to draw water near the site. One was inoperative and the other put out water that smelled like rotten eggs, (sulfur). As far as I know, there seems to be no illness on my part, but this water had a pretty gross taste. Any suggestings on how to neutralize the sulfurous taste?
