Anybody planning to go to Bong, Kettle Moraine South, or Chain of Lakes?  Let me know if you wish to try these campgrounds.

Anybody up for a Thursday out Friday back trip?  Destination is flexible, but I've got to get out of the city for a night.

If anybody's thinking of camping the last weekend of May, lots of luck finding a site!  That's usually the Memorial Day weekend, which is pretty much the kickoff of summer.

Did anyone @ Zion come across a little 'black diamond' lantern while cleaning up? I swear I put it in my bag before leaving but now I can't find it.

I hear you Iggi, but speaking from experience, I've been to the Illinois Beach Park in some pretty horrific rains before, literally hours of riding in the rain, and the campsite wasn't flooded at all.  It may be different story this time, but I am still looking towards going camping.   The trails leading to the site are paved, with a few spots of crushed limestone (if I remember correctly) and we can also go on the road for parts  of the trip if necessary.

i hate to rain on this parade...but the weather doesnt look too promising.  and beyond the rain this weekend, im concerned about the trail conditions and how saturated the ground we would be sleeping on is. the ground might be a water bed.
