its about an hour ride from IL st beach to the ren fair, which is open 10am -7pm July 7th-Labor day

Its about 9 miles to either Winthrop and Antioch Metra stations.

Antioch doesn't have weekend trains.  And there is a limited number of trains that originate in Kenosha on the weekends.  (Most trains originate in Waukegan on weekends.)

True.  I just wanted people to know about the reduced number of Kenosha<->Chicago trains on weekends so you can plan accordingly.

Either weekend works for me. Although the second option seems to be going back in time
