GITy Up! 2012 - A bite-sized bike camping adventure!

Hi, bike campers and S24O fans. My organization will be bike camping for a cause July 14-15: to promote trail-based bicycle tourism in Illinois to communities, to agencies, to cyclists. We want to raise the profile of our trails and what they can do so we can get more built, and get more out of the trails we have.

We're making it easy for first timers and families - we'll schlep all their camping gear, for instance, and the route, the IPP and Fox River triangle, is flat, easy pedaling.

While the event might not be for you - a big appeal of bike camping is that it is SO CHEAP to do - you can still help the cause by sharing the event. Please do! And I hope to see some of you and yours out under the stars with us.
