Lee Diamond is the authority on the boundaries of Lincoln Square - ask him...

Yeah, when I'm directing people to the wonderful restaurants there, I can never say whether Spoon, Opart, or Los Nopales are in fact in Lincoln Square or not. Easier just to say so, because people know the area.

I know I'm in the Lincoln Square community area, but wasn't sure if where I am is really considered Lincoln Square.

Jared, Lincoln Square is subsumed by Ravenswood, and it's generally not seen as much outside of the stretch along Lincoln itself. I'd say you're more accurately in Ravenswood, but you're close enough that it's splitting hairs. :)

Here's a nifty map that'll let you see the somewhat accepted boundaries of the neighborhoods.

Of course, the real estate folks have been redefining the neighborhoods for years, so it's sometimes hard to find an agreed upon boundary.

By Greenfield I meant Fairfield.

Plenty of us Rogers Park and further north. Welcome, Kelli!

I'm about as far north as you can get - Rogers Park - and I'm hoping to go for my first NSCM on 9/11 with some friends

Just moved from Lakeview to Lawrence/Greenfield which I guess is Lincoln Square.
