Here's one idea, Links Hall. It would cost us $20 to rent for an hour. We would also get a 30 min before and after the class to get in and out and access to bathroom facilities and a water cooler. It's in a fairly convenient location, 3435 N. Sheffield Avenue. We would all have to pitch in a bit (maybe $5 each) for the class so it wouldn't be free anymore but this could be worth it for the great location and facilities.
Ideally it would be best if someone could offer to host us for free but if no one can, perhaps some place with studio rentals would be a good choice for us. Any other suggestions?
Thanks Lizzie! We've got a great winter home already. You should check it out. We have the use of a de-sanctified chapel at the Stone Soup Co-Op on Wilson and Ashland. Here are all the details: http://www.thechainlink.org/events/free-community-yoga-winter-locat...
It looks like we are probably going to get the Stone Soup Chapel again. I've got the arrangements in the works, but it's good to have a back up plan. Thanks!!
Thanks so much for all you do in coordinating yoga, April. I so very much appreciate it...
Would be great to be back at Stone Soup. If that doesn't work out, another idea to explore might by Xuntas--would probably have to pay a fee for it (I have no idea how much, but would definitely be willing to contribute) and would need a "certified teacher" (not sure what certification they require), I think. It's a great community space. https://www.facebook.com/XuntasChicago#!/XuntasChicago/info
