until you live in SF and ride fixed everyday you have no idea what it means to put your knees through hell haha this shit is nuts out here! the whole city is hills. Going up or down is nuts at times. ive spent alot of time in boston. I pretty much ride the same ratio-48/16 in chicago boston and san francisco

I can't wait for Boston... Luckily I had a plane ticket that I couldn't use so I'm using it as credit to my flight out to Boston so I won't be joining you in your van/bus crew. If your lookin for a ride talk to the cuttin crew, I'm sure the bus is makin the trip.

my knees were great. the only downside was it would have been a welome break to occasionally be able to stand up and stretch my calves and stuff, but I ended up feeling awesome.

Yeah, if I move back east I'll be curious to see which ratio I will have to rock in boston.

Oooh, how were your knees? A friend of mine lived in Philly and would ride fixed centuries all the time! Ugh, I think my legs would fall off.
