FBC Chicago

The FBC doesn't exist in any official capacity, and is open to anyone at any experience level and any bike style. What we do is drink beer and ride bikes, the flagship ride being the Full Moon Fiasco every month.

Sounds like a cool idea Keith! We might be able to hit up Gannon's Pub (CL bar night location this month) after.

Not presumptuous at all. Let's roll the stars. If you need a spoke card designed, let me know %-}

Hey errahbody,

so last week was my first ride up in chicago, and it was a great time, thanks for being such awesome folks and welcoming the new set so well.

I feel a little presumptuous trying to organize a ride on my own at this point, but I figured since the FBC takes place during a full moon there may be a few star gazers out there that would be interested in this:

(note that this month is FREE!)

I'd love to go, and I'd especially love to peddle it down there, maybe meet at a bar around 6, then get on down with it by 7?

I'm a bit sketchy as far as further planning goes, fairly new to this city, so I'm not really sure what bar would work best? I live on the North side so I figure I'd ride the lakeshore trail down? If someone wants to contact me directly with any ideas I'd appreciate it.

I know there's the chainlink bar ride that night as well, I hate competing with that, and it may kill this idea entirely, but maybe after the planetarium we can meet up with those kids somewhere.

thanks for the input if you have any, and if I don't see you thursday, I will next time for sure.

Okay, I made Flickr page for the FBC photos.
Thought it best since these are only the drinking
portion of our ride last week. I think this is the link...
