For the most part, Steven's route is a good route. I can see only two problem areas. The first one is with Bloomingdale. Bloomingdale is a VERY narrow street hard up against the old railroad line. Between Mozart and California it stops. One would have to turn the mass north to Cortland or south to Wabansia to get through, then turn the whole thing to get back on Bloomindale. then hop over some curb-like structure at Maplewood. Bloomingdale could very well kill the whole thing. Or at least mess it up beyond repair.
The second is Division. The bridge on the western side of goose Island is out for westbound traffic (at least it was as of Tuesday) that wont be a problem as the mass is scheduled to head east, but there are some traffic barriers on the eastern side of the bridge. these can be ridden through, but I don't know if the whole bridge is scheduled for repairs or just the west-bound lane.
All except for Bloomingdale. this is a good route.
