Join the annual Ride of Silence, an organized annual cycling procession honoring those that have been injured or killed. The goal is to raise awareness that we are here, and to ask that we all share the road.

ROS-Chicago already received an email from a friend of this cyclist who was killed. The news article certainly does blame the cyclist...

In the meantime, what can we do to make that stretch of Devon safer and more traffic calming? If you live in that Ward - let your Alderman know that you want safer streets for cycling.

ROS will have a table under the Big Top Tent this Sunday at Bike the Drive and we're seeking helpers to staff the table from 8am-noon. We hope to see you out on a car-free LSD.

This is from the Jukebox at The Sovereign, a bar near Metropolis Cafe where Liz Whitacre worked.  She is widely missed.

For those asking how to get a Ride of Silence jersey, Mt Borah is selling them and donating proceeds from the sales back to Ride of Silence:

you should be able to donate as a "guest" without creating an acct - like with PayPal. It's just a different provider of this service. Thank you for wanting to donate.
