This is a great trail that starts at 100th & Ewing to the north (along 41). The greenway goes through Eggers Grove and right to Wolf Lake. It transitions into the Pennsy Greenway to the south with a couple mile break in the middle because of the railyard.
It's usually in great shape when I ride it. I am also friends with a treekeeper who is leading an effort to plant trees up and down the path for the past 5~10 years or so. People who live next to the path are asked to adopt the trees, which means watering (needed especially when young) and general maintenance and everybody benefits!
There is a Burnham Greenway beautification work day coming up Monday, August 11th. (details below)
Trees 'R' Beautiful and the Southeast Environmental Taskforce are hosting a work day to beautify the Burnham Greenway at 108th & Avenue D.
