Chicago Bike Buddies is a volunteer-run program that connects aspiring cyclists with experienced volunteers who want to see more riders on the roads. Our mission is to get more riders on Chicago streets by reaching out to those who could be hesitant to get on their bikes as it can seem quite overwhelming. By connecting new cyclists with experienced riders and reviewing safety tips and riding together, Chicago Bike Buddies will alleviate any fear or nervousness and give new riders the confidence they need to feel great on the road!

Hey Folks, I have moved to California and therefore am no longer an active CBBer, however I am happy to help out remotely however I can. I would check with Kevin Swanson to see if there are any upcoming activities.
Is this community still active? I signed up to be a volunteer but haven't heard a response yet. I'm thinking of starting a similar thing for students and staff at Northwestern University.
Are there any events on the calendar for 2016 that I can share with Chainlinkers?
