this is a great idea - we (Parquito) have a community garden in Humboldt Park (a.k.a. "Livin' on a Prayer")

in the 1600 block of N. Richmond (2930 W). Open to all. we have fruit trees; bees; hops; composting and lots of vegetable seedlings started (in mini-greenhouses). We also have a firepit and after work days (usually every other saturday or sunday) have a bonfire; cook some food; drink some homebrew and just enjoy the outdoors and vacant lot and hang out. we accept donations of any materials we can use for

fencing; composting or fires.

I saw two fat robins eating a lot of worms. Does that count?
