There has been an idea thrown out to have people walk around wearing a sign saying "Ask Me About Bike Winter" at the Halloween CCM.  Anyone want to volunteer? Ideas?

I want to, but I'm leaving town at 3:30 on Friday for the weekend. I regret my poor planning, but I have to be an an auction in WI very early on Saturday morning scouting for vintage! I would love to got to CCM over the Halloween weekend.

If you guys want to do something like this for the Nov. CCM, I'm there.
Holly, that would be great!

I have a bunch of sewn fleece to give away, also Jami and Gin might have some sewn fleece ready. While I may not walk around with a sign, I'll staple some bike winter stickers or info sheets to the fleece.
Sounds good!

Guess what? My plans have changed. I'm not going to the auction--too many old timey tools, vintage dolls and farm equipment that I don't seem to need.

So--I'll look for you, Julie, if I do end up at CCM on Friday. I do want to go. A lot will depend upon my work load and how much I get done on Friday. I am pretty sure I can do it. I won't have a costume though and that's bothering me.
I can help out. Do I need to make this sign or will someone have one for me to wear? (Julie??)

Also, I will be towing a ginormous 6 foot Pirate Ship (er, trailer) for the Mass, so if anyone needs a place to stash fleece goodies and the like, I've got it.

If possible, make your own sign. It can be as simple as pinning a piece of paper on your clothes (both front and back) saying, ask me about Bike Winter). I will try to bring extra paper and black markers for you as well (no guarantee though).

We will begin to meet at 5:15 at the flagpole (just East of the Picasso statue). Someone will be there to hand you stickers, neck gaitors and balachlavas to give out.

My cell if you need it is 773 965-3396.

Thanks for your help in advance!
If you can't get there at 5:15, someone will wait for you at the flagpole to give you stickers and fleece giveaways.
I'll do my best to get there before the group departs. It just takes me awhile to get downtown, esp. in the dark.
I should be able to be there as well. Hopefully I'll be able to sew up some of the fleece goodies that I have.
