So I know many of you have excess junk and I am sure many of us would like to purchase said junk so I figured I would provide a place for it as well as ask about to see if anyone has some of the stuff I am looking for; I would much rather buy off of here then send money to a stranger on e-bay/

I am currently in the market for the following:

For a good cause:

-Vintage 3spd/drum brake hub.
-Drum brake generator hub.
-Any old SA 3spd shifters, if I do end up with an new hub I still want it to look old.
-Non-peaked steel fenders to fit 28's
-Chain guard in good condition.
-Any rod brake parts.
-Tall/short stem.
-Ratty looking spring saddle.

For me to 'ruin' by making a new British tall bike:

-Step through frame, can have mangled stays but front must be OK.
-Standard frame, must be in good over all condition.
-Fork, any steer tube length will work.
-Peaked fenders, decent but not destroyed.
-Chain guards, any condition.
-Shifter parts for 3spd.
-Ratty spring saddle.
-Any neat old parts that would make for a cool bike but are not quite nice enough for regular service.

I have a nice early '60's Raleigh 5-spd, 21" mens frame.
Blue with chrome fenders, tuned, new rubber, no rust or pocking
on rims. Missing chain gaurd, Selle Royal saddle, rest of bike is complete.
Kevin really does have everything! I bet he has those other parts but he just can't remember where he put them!
I'm looking for a Raleigh or other british 3 speed in a 22 or 23 inch men's frame. A fixer-upper would be fine...but then, so would a gem. If you've got an extra, please let me know. Could potentially arrange a trade for a diamond-frame Schwinn 3 speed.
Check out Uptown Bikes on Broadway between Wilson and Lawrence. They have a couple of dandy 3speeds: Gent's Triumph and Lady's Rudge. Both appear to be in the 19-20 inch ranges. I can't be more precise as they are hanging from the ceiling. If you are interested, do act quickly. Nora & Co usually stop selling used bikes at the end of this month!

And several weeks back, Sir John and I discovered a Raleigh-built Gent's BSA at Play It Again Sports on Ashland just north of Ten Cat!
Hello BBCer's. I am selling a very nice, sky-blue 1974 Raleigh Sports on Craigslist, and I know that nice examples of these are getting harder to find, so I am posting here in case anyone is interested. All original and complete excepting necessary replacement tires, but I do have the original Dunlops. Have a look:
