UPDATE - It's actually a 26.2 that I need

My seat post and saddle were both stolen off my hybrid (quick release) - anyone have an old seat post? I'm guessing it's a standard 27.2 size.  Thanks!

Ouch, that sucks.  I don't happen have a 27.2 in my junk bin right now or I'd be happy to oblige.

This might help with the sizing to be more sure. 27.2 isn't all that "standard" in the long run.

A simple seat post is not a super-expensive part and most LBS's carry a decent selection of economy seat posts.  I'd suggest also getting at least an alan-head seat post binding bolt for more security.  That at least discourages the opportunist thieves/kids from a 2-second yank and run attack. On my bike I've also got a chain securing the Brooks but anyone with a bolt-cutter or bike chain-breaker could easily defeat that too.  Even a pin-lock binder isn't proof against a thief who knows his stuff.

I have a 27.2 with an old road bike saddle on it.  It's yours if you want it.

Cool, thanks guys!  Wesley - just sent you a PM.
