Working Bikes Shipping Party

Help Working Bikes achieve its mission which goes far beyond selling used bicycles. Working Bikes is always looking for new volunteers.

There is an opportunity to help load a container of bicycles for the Village Bicycle Project in Ghana on Saturday June 13.

Working Bikes have a Shipping Party for the Village Bicycle Project in Ghana this Saturday the 13th. The "party" goes from 10 AM to 3 PM at 2434 S. Western, Chicago.

Following is a description of the project from David Peckham:

"We'd love to get a container from you this year. We're starting programs in Sierra Leone, and have a volunteer on the way to teach girls how to ride. She will also lay the groundwork for programs similar to our Ghana one-day workshops, starting in December.

The 2009 container from you would go to Ghana, and help fund the Salone programs"
