Winter Wheel Build Special at Rapid Transit!

It's winter and we're bored as can be so we are offering up an amazing deal on wheel builds.

  • 15% any parts purchased for a wheel build.
  • If you buy 2/3 of the parts for the wheel at Rapid the labor is only $30 for a single wheel or $50 for a pair.
  • If we build to all your parts it is $40 each and $75 for a pair.
  • All wheels built at Rapid will carry a 18 month warranty on truing; if the wheel goes out of true in that time we will re-true it for free.

This deal only lasts until spring and we get to busy to do wheel builds this cheap.

Warranty does not cover physical damage to the wheel; you bust it on a curb or taco it running into the back of a can that is on you, sorry.

Here at Rapid, I have been building a lot of heavy duty touring/commuting wheels lately.

Velocity Chukkers with Sapim Force triple butted spokes on various hubs... Shimano, Phil Wood, Schmidt (Generator). Super tough wheels - Chicago tough! I can build other styles of wheel as well. I would be more than happy to help anyone plan and build a wheel or wheelset. Stop by and chat - I am in Monday, Thursday and Friday.
