A foot... Nah like 5-6 inches maybe. :)
Ride safe you 5 o'clock commuters! Side roads are of course dicey but at least the plows are out on the main drags.
Yeah, storm turned out not as bad as I thought. Still, low visibility and blowing snow can make riding tricky, so I'm glad I took the 'L' today. I'm hoping the snow will be cleared by tomorrow morning so I can ride in.
Same for me. I was really disappointed that wasn't worse. Can't wait to ride in tomorrow.

First time this winter I am not biking due to weather. It had better snow a foot.
I don't know. Milwaukee was still a sloppy mess at about 5:00 and the side streets were covered with snow and were developing ruts. Milwaukee will probably be okay in the morning, but I am pretty pessimistic about the side streets.
I took Milwaukee north out of the Loop at about 6:00 pm. Light traffic, parts of the painted bike lane poking out, slush, but no ice. A pleasant ride home. Milwaukee will be fine tomorrow.

Bike infrastructure will get that kind of attention when there are front page pictures of thousands of cyclists stranded on a route because the city did not plow it fast enough or good enough. ;-)
