I'm glad you posted - I've been looking for Chainlink chat about this ride!

I got just a few comps through work and gave them to volunteers, but I was going to register today and now I'm unsure about the weather. Have you ever ridden it in the rain? I'd bet it's actually pretty fun!

I'm meeting friends for drinks before the ride - perhaps we shoud grow it to a Chainlink mini-meetup bar night??
ILL BE THERE! ROLLIN DEEP! LOL it IS always a fun ride
i would if it wasnt 40 bucks. so im going to the tour de fat instead.

i do take donations however
Ride as a course marshall and your registration is half price! It's not too late!

www.lateride.org - register online until noon July 10 OR in person the night of the ride!

First time rider in this event, and I can't fathom why it's so popular. I would not pay to do it again. Too many riders, too slow a pace, and the police presence was just standing around.

If you want to ride around in a huge group, do Critical Mass.
If you want to give to friends of the parks, donate $$ or time.
If you want to average a mild walking pace around the city with a large infusion of bureaucracy and to pay to ride on public roads, sign up for next year's ride.
I dig that Mr. O'Connor .....
