Who did you run into that you know today on your ride? Today was unlike any other day, especially in nice weather.

Aaron at Belmont and Clark and then my brother's ex girlfriend/yoga instructor at Schubert and Clark.

I counted seven cyclists today during my suburban commute--more than I've ever seen before!  Only two were wearing Lycra. One was an elder statesman and two were women.   It was very exciting.  However only the Lycra dudes and I were on the road, the rest were riding on the sidewalk. Sure says something about riding in the suburbs.
I finally saw someone I know!  During Friday's evening commute on the LFT, I rode past Rene Rooster.
I was standing in Palmer Square when CCM rode by last night and I saw too many familiar faces to name and I bumped into Todd Allen today on Sacramento enjoying the beautiful weather.
I saw BK and Laura Blake where the Green Bay Trail crosses Hazel Avenue in Glencoe yesterday on my way up to the Millennium Trail.
almost literally (my fault for going too fast) ran into Kellie and Andrea on the LFP saturday
I (also) -almost- ran into Michael Brosilow Friday at Horner Park. **I** was on my bike; he was running. Imagine that
Yesterday I ran into Julie who seems to have resolved her dilemma of which bike to ride.
Wednesday I ran into Laura and Iggi on their way to the grocery.  It was great because it cheered me up, since I was furious with the traffic on Halsted.
I saw the lovely Ms. Katie Paffhouse.  :)

on my commute today going east on Grand Ave (one of my regular routes to downtown --- where I always

hope I may see iggi riding west) I pass by his and Laura's apt, and WHO do I see laying in the grass ????

WINSTON! (the wunderhund).

I just had to circle around and say hi to him. I even think he remembers me !  and then he started

yelping and laura stuck her head out the window.  it made my day (damn...I am so easy to please sometimes).

I heard Winston this am, howling and barking like crazy. I assumed it was because his new fav dog friend/ girlfriend bianca was outside. Stuck my head out the window to see dan brown! And an extremely happy dog!
I also saw 2 non chainlink related friends on my commute today as well!

I was on the bus one day (#56) and Cezar Jenkns literally ride right by me as he passed the bus. I was pounding on the window yelling to get his attention (to no avail) and then realized I looked like a crazy
homeless dude.... LOL
