Where have a ride ?

Hi,

I have a question where to go on a training, I live in Elmwood Park and I want to ride about 30 miles... I'm new because I came from Europe, so I don't know the area well yet

if you go to chicagobikeracing.com, look under rides you will find all the local group training rides in the area, this late in the season most evening rides are coming to an end due to darkness

You could try going to MapMyRide.com and searching for routes from the Elmwood Park area.

The Lake and Harlem ride in Oak Park which is just south of you is a great ride, but its tough. They mix up the route and sometimes there are a lot of rollers so it is a bit hillier then most rides in the greater Chicagoland area. Not sure what part of Europe you're from but I imagine you may be missing hills already...
