Chicago has a dandy, new Bike Share Program.

It has dozens of miles of new "Protected" Bike Lanes

with 100s of new bike commuters cruising the streets.

But Chicago no longer has a City Bike Coordinator.

And since Ben Gomberg "resigned" several weeks ago,

there hasn't been a peep from "Hizonner" about his replacement.

Or will the position go the way of the Department of the Environment

and the Three Toed Sloth?

How about Howard K, Michael B, and you Cameron - aren't you looking for a new direction, employment-wise?

+1 That inspires me to ask - what kind of a job should Bike Coordinator be?

'bout time I got a "real" job.
