Every bike thief should be forced to watch "The Bicycle Thief" as part of their punishment. If they are a civilized and sensitive person, they will never entertain the thought of making off with an unlocked beater after a night of heavy drinking again.

Rosenbaum claims that the original English translation of that film's title was incorrect. He says that it should be called "The Bicycle Theives" which makes more sense anyway. I'm taking his word for it.
