What to upgrade first?

Just bought used Trek FX 7.1 (2009). It looks great and it is a mint condition. Just curious, according to your experiance, what would upgrade first on such a bike. Please advise?

What is the current problem with the bike?

I assume you are talking about something like adding a rack for panniers, but not sure.

No, no problem so far. I was just curious what would be first thing to replace? Should I have spear tires in stack, or maybe saddle, or... else?

As for upgrades, I would ride it for a while first and see what you want to fix. For example if you commute and get too sweaty you may want to get a rack and pannier. However you can't know these things until you use it. Same goes for seat, handlebars, etc.

For what you should carry, I usually carry a spare tube, pump, small multi-tool and tire lever when I ride so if I get a flat I can fix it and get home. People carry various things, but this usually works for me.
