West Side Commuting

A friend of mine wants to start commuting from Oak Park, but is concerned about the ride home at night. Are there any groups or clubs that ride west at set times during the week? Would anyone be interested in one? Thanks

Well I can't guarantee much of a timetable ~but~ after dark if the weather's nice I take halsted-milwaukee-armitage-austin to oak park and it's Just Fine.

If it's not dark and/or the weather is less than nice then lake street's generally fine. If he's interested in meeting somewhere around i dunno 5:30 or so then I'd be down with that.

The other is newer and smaller and more mission-specific but fairly active-- "HARRISONBIKERS."
