Does anyone have a good recommendation for some waterproof shoes and some warm socks? I'm looking for something that I can wear to ride in the rain/snow and warm enough to keep my toes cozy in cold weather.

Thanks!

I'll have to give the tape a try someday -perhaps a really rainy day where my fenders and low-hanging mudflaps aren't cutting it.

Gore-Tex socks are expensive, but they keep you dry and retain heat. Get them oversized.

I picked up some Tretorn boots at the REI winter sale and they're great.  Not too big and clunky, but fuzzy and warm on the inside.  And I love my Smartwool socks.  Merino wool is not waterproof obviously, but they're thin and warm even when wet.  Keep an eye out for them on sale

Hey Serge,

Do you have these? How well do they hold up and do you think they'd work well over a beat up pair of converses? On sale for $35 and I'm contemplating getting some. Last year I just made do with wet feet and had some memorably shitty commutes as a result.
