The Chainlink

I rode from Evanston up to Highwood/Fort Sheridan this morning.  As I arrived at University Ave and Old Elm, there was a group of perhaps five people getting ready to turn left.  Just as I turned right I noticed that one of the riders was wearing a Chainlink jersey.  Was that you?  You were all chatting, so I decided to just keep moving.

Where does one get a Chainlink jersey?

Cool! That would have been about when I was there, as well. I usually hit that part of the trail earlier, myself - this morning's crowds were a good reminder why...

Yeah, that was probably me. I am currently using a backpack and ride a Trek 520 converted to fixed gear. I was running late, so probably didn't hit LFP until 7:45. I'm usually there about 90 minutes earlier...

Were you on the northside LFP this morning, heading south? I passed a guy with what looked like this jersey - it was hard to tell as the logo was largely obscured by his backpack. But the font was recognizable. I almost said something... but didn't want to be a creep.

Thanks! Just bought a couple of sets (one for me and for the gf)

According to the Voler site there is, at least for men:

http://www.voler.com/browse/collections/details/li/Chainlinkorg/

I see full zip race jerseys for men and women, 3/4 zip club jersey for men, and 3/4 zip jersey for women. Note that it doesn't mention "club" for that last option, but that may well be "club" fit.

When you wait until the last minute to get the discount on your order for a Chainlink Jersey you end up with a "backordered" Chainlink jersey. :-(

Lisa,

It may not actually take that long. Still WAY faster than any other custom merchandise company out there (usually 4-6 weeks or longer).

I ordered samples  to have on hand about 2 weeks ago and although only half came within the 10 day timeframeand they told me the other part was backordered,  the other shipment came 2 days later.

Note they don't charge your credit card until they ship.

Nah, mine was also back-ordered when I ordered it early part of last month.

How long was it delayed?

It's not bad, considering that it's made-to-order. It was 7-10 days for ALL of my orders (4 items). But once I got the shipping confirmation, the item(s) arrive in 1 day.

My order took a week to print and ship. Ordered 7/11, shipped 7/18. Got a medium in race fit. It's the right size for me, and cut very slim. If you have even the tiniest belly, it'll show, but I prefer that to a loose jersey. It's a nice summer weight fabric, probably the lightest jersey I own. Print quality is great. I'm also totally sold on full-length zippers from here on out!

Great morning for a sweater...just sayin'.

I'm going to have to dig mine out

Actually wore the jersey yesterday!  I thought the sweater might be overkill today, but maybe not!
