wanted : 2 SPD adapter plates

Hi folks - sinple request here. I am switching to SPD for indoor spinning class and I have

everything I need (shoes, cleats,etc.) EXCEPT the SPD adapter plates.

Does anyone have a pair laying around not being used ? I can pick them up and offer a nice bribe too.

You talking about the ones that come with shoes?

yes. I removed them when I had LOOK cleats in them for years. now the spinning bikes only handle SPD and I am SOL.

I had some that I couldn't get to work, but I think I gave them away to the bike winter swap stuff.

I thought I'd find some in the boxes my clipless sandals came in, or maybe in the box with the specialized shoes I never wore, but all I've found is two little baggies of screws. Will keep my eyes open but I'm not hopeful. I'd think a shop that sells a lot of shoes, like Smithy or Performance might have some laying around?
