Lasts one week, then washes off ? ! Would be great to use for NBR !

It does look like a nice option for those of us who don't have the Halo reflective coating on their bikes, which I suspect is all of us.

Clicking around, it looks like a new and not yet widely distributed product. Has anyone seen it in the wild?

I probably should have been less metaphorical -- by "in the wild" I meant "on a shelf in a shop one can walk into."

But it looks like the answer is "no" for the moment.

Looks like you can get it here (not sure if they ship to the US): http://www.albedo100.co.uk/index.html

eBay from Germany comes to about $28 a can.

The thing to do is not put it on your clothes at all, spray up your face and put on a long cloak and make for the cross walk.

The Seventh Seal / Bergman.

Great idea, I may try this on Halloween.

Love it !

I've got to believe that their one week quote or one washing is conservative. And if for example you sprayed it on a seldom washed and semiporous jacket, and re-sprayed every few months, you'd have persistence.

The thing to do is put a layer of hairspray on top, this is an old trick to save drawings. Makes a thin protective shell.

Hairspray would wash off in the rain too.  I wonder if you could spray over it with a clear lacquer? On a bike I mean, not on a jacket :-)

Yea, but then one might as well use reflective spray paint.

- One week or one wash = Lifepaint

- One wash = Lifepaint + hairspray

- Permanent = Lifepaint + clear lacquer / reflective spray paint.
