Poor kid is a bit traumatized and not really understanding what is going on. Things like this make me glad i don't have children.

After watching this video I unconsciously went into the bathroom and washed my hands -didn't realize what i had done until after I got back to the computer.

a thing of beauty... the cycle of life: a hunter, the hunted, an experience shared between parents and child. no labels neither right nor wrong. in another time the squirrel would have been eaten and little would go to waste.

I didn't think it was messed up at all.  The kid was a bit weirded out by seeing the new dog kill a squirrel right in front of her and was a big confused and acting strange.  She's three.  She didn't know HOW to act but the parents handled it pretty well even though they were sort of freaking out themselves and mom was putting the heat on dad to help her out.

 

The funniest part (other than, "look he is nodding his little head") was when the woman said, "now show the mom" and he panned the camera up to show the mom and she had this weird stressed-out smile and he zooms in and cuts off her head and just goes for the boob shot -classy.  I'm sure he got crap for that when she first saw the video!

 

I bet someday this video ends up being shown by some professor in a behavioral studies class.  It's got a lot of neat stuff in it. I'd like to have someone like that watch this and point out exactly what s/he thought was going on with the little family.   That would be neat.  Anyone here have a degree?  I'd love to hear your input.
