RT News is one of them 24/7 news channels in English for Russian audiences. It's much better than American media news.

Did you know they play RT on channel 5-3 at like 7:30 every morning?

I don't know if it's better than major american news, but it's nice to see some anti-us government views every once in a while on a major network. They do give voice to a lot of quacks, though...which can be pretty entertaining.

I think all this shows is how nationalistic we are. Everyone is in a tissy because he was born in America. Does that make him more of a human than all them foreigners?

His activities may be repulsive but let American jurisprudence run it's course, a right that is guaranteed to all American citizens. It sets a bad precedent when the Executive decides what an individual citizen deserves. I suppose we have The Patriot Act to thank for this.

No but it does raise certain constitutional questions about being executed without a trial. I.e. do your rights and protections from the US government disappear if you leave the US? Interestingly enough, the government says that US laws apply to citizens regardless of where they are in the world.

One of the creepy things about this is that I've never seen any real evidence that this guy is a recruiter for al Qaeda, as opposed to a belligerent/insane preacher and propagandist. Leaving alone the broader implications of the president being able to order Americans killed without trial, I doubt anyone wants the government in the business of deciding which speech is unpopular enough to warrant getting killed. I think the American federal government should be dissolved in favor of regional governments. Is expressing that opinion incitement to terrorism? Should I be looking out for snipers? (Lucky for me I can protect myself with Doombots.)

well at lest the pres. gets to do it now as well...why let the cia have all the fun getting to kill who they want. and its not like we havnt been shooting who ever we want for decades. american or not.
