Looks pretty cool. i have not seen those before.

For an alternate solution,
I have used the cheap Bell branded bike hooks ($3.00 @ Target) for years. I have mounted them along rafters, but also in the manner that these hooks work. My solution is definitely more "ghetto" but none of my bikes have toppled either.
I have 2 like that. Mine are Rubbermaid though. I used them for a few months last winter but wont need them this year. If I find them Id be more then willing to let them go to someone who would use them.
Ill be at the Horrible Sweater Hot Drink Hunt. Let me know what you think and I could bring them with.

other then that I'm sure a big chain sports store would have something like that there.
I've seen those at the Lincolnwood Home Depot (Lincoln + McCormick.)

I was tempted but as rb pointed out, vinyl-coated c-hooks are cheaper and work just fine. I think they're like .99/ea, also available at the Home Depot. They're right next to the fancier ones.

Never thought to mount them on a vertical post but that's a good tip.
I will be meeting up (hopefully) with you all on the sweater ride farther North. I would love the hooks you aren't using, if you find them by then.

Container store has a bunch of different bike racks
Schererville Indiana. We sell those.
depending on just how ghetto you want to go....you can screw 2-3 (side by side) of those "J" hooks in
the ceiling (use multiple for added strength) and then get some strong (long) non-metal bungee cords and just hang the bike from the ceiling.

just my $.02
